Website overhaul opinions....

Hello guys,

We appreciate your feedback and I've been reading that some people don't like our website, our payment system, our payment plans etc, etc.

I've always tried to keep to the three click rule, if you can't buy it in three clicks you are doing something wrong.

I know our layout and our pics may not be the best out there, but we've come a long way in 10 months.

We launched in July of 2014 and I feel our website has grown with the company.

Personally I'd rather put money into product and not waste on goofy features that only a few would appreciate anyway.

I do know we have a few problems with the shopping cart, you are very limited with paypal.

We are going to overhaul the site and I'd like to know what your thoughts are for making it better. Don't say, make it like so and so's website, give me actual changes.

If you've purchased from us before, what are your experiences? Do you like the photos?

Let's be brutal but constructive, I want to get it right and I hate working on websites.

Paul

The website is pretty solid, but there are some navigation/layout issues, that I'd change.

Remove the couple inches of dead space in the header, above the logo.

On some product pages you have to scroll up and down the page to see all of a product image, e.g. Terminator Endoskull.

The thumbnails are below the larger images, so to see the next image you have to scroll down, click the next thumbnail, then scroll back up to view it. This even occurs at 1920x1080.

You could do a few things -
Shrink the size of the main image
Create a pop out window with all images/navigation in it
Move the thumbnails to the left of the large image
Auto-adjust based on browser and resolution

Above all the images are of high quality

Those are the two biggest issues I've encountered

Thanks Pilky,

I'll take that into consideration and pass it along to our new web designers....

I pretty much agree with everything above.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

photos on the individual product pages are good but on the main page I'd update them cos they don't look all that high res. msybe its my tablet but i dont think so. first port of call needs to be as impressive as it can be.

otherwise totally agree with the above and particularly your point paul about investing in product.

thanks for asking!

pilky had some great suggestions.

I was suprised how quickly i was able to Pre-order ED-209 and 2nd run CAIN.

maybe create a happy customers section. Where new a customer can see the current/previously released products in the hands of other collectors.

Yup, customers feedbacks.
Also, super hi-res pictures with a zoom function. That's what I miss the most of the old Sideshow website, I could really lose a lot of time zooming the pics and I feel that with the level of detail you're putting into your pieces it would really add to the overall "sellability" (?) of the products.

Maybe a 360ยบ gif of the products or a unpacking video and assembly ?

Some kind of "Reward points"

Officially Licensed Products doesn't have any logo for Terminator Genisys.

I found ordering the 1:1 Endoskull easy and fast. No system glitches.
