Maybe, but I don't think so. If so, there's a lot of strong artistic interpretation going on as that is nothing like his costume. And the sword is a modernized, detailed version of the original power sword, and not the one from the movies.

Top that off with the fact that I believe Mattel owns the rights to the movie version as well as any version. So if SS got a license, its probably all versions.

I do like that full body shot. Still looking for clarification on if anyone else see's a seam on the neck.

Gotta say this is looking pretty good so far, I like the added details. Armor looks cool. Face is not exactly spot on. He has more of a Conan face here, something I don't mind since I have zero interest in He Man BUT this could make for a good custom Conan piece.
Face and eyes are there already, repaint his hair black, make custom hands with bladed gauntles, commission a generic sand-blooded base. There you go, pit fighter Conan.

Well this sucks. Now I'll have to figure out which version I really want. This or the PCS version. I'm sure PCS will have smaller ES and be cheaper so that's a factor too. Can't believe after years of not much He-man all of a sudden being hit with bunch of stuff.
