Guys, there are reasons we've had so many producers leave this forum, never to return. Don't be one of those reasons.

Umm.. WHAT? First overcast is a whiter light than sunlight.

But secondly I have an agenda? We both bought this. Mine is not finished paid for. I am going to repaint the face, but I said I am happy you that you are content with skin.

But yesterday you say this:

And today, you say this:

And today you keep posting the statue pics with window lighting I guess to try to convince or prove to others, or yourself, or both that the skin tone is fine I guess? If anyone honestly has an agenda it's honestly you my brother.

Regardless if I find the skin tone horribly off, I'm keeping the piece because I love the sculpt. But the skin tone is plain wrong to me and there's no hiding it in my opinion. Sorry.

Peace and Cheers.

I give up trying to decide. Some pictures the dude looks so dark and others, extreme close ups, show a tan but true skin tone.

Fantastic statue, either way.

Sorry, Croissants. I was under the impression you owned this and had it in hand.

I go back to my orginal statement that unless it is in hand, nobody can accuracy judge skin tone.

The arms are shaded with the same dark as the face. The arms have highlights and shadows as well as freckles on them.
They are also smooth texture and photograph lighter than the face that has all texture.

I can honestry say I am 100% happy. Look at all my pics, some the face looks dark, some it matches the arms.

By an agenda I meant that you are selectively picking out only my photos that look dark faced and blowing them up and pointing out how dark the face is and the only time you mention one where the face is light you claim I have bright white lights on it.. you need to relax until you have it in hand, then you will see for yourself.

Yes, it is raining and overcast here in northern California today and that was the light I snapped my pic with.

I wasn't trying to bad mouth you, I was just noticing a pattern of non stop comments about the skin tone and everything I was posting became fodder for your "pigmentgate" scandle.

I apologize if I was harsh.
