Bottom Line: Outstanding paint job.
Perhaps as stunning a job as you'll ever see, if you're lucky.
The rest is pure icing on the cake.
There should be a special page in this year's Spectrum HC reserved just for this piece.

316what, I don't want to steal your thread here, but I'm going to add the pictures I took of mine in here as well. Having all the pics in one spot will make it easier for everyone.
The coolest thing about the light up base is it changes, it's not just a one stage light in it.

Thanos,
Glad you mentioned the lighting changes in the base. I've been waiting for someone to get their statue and mention it so I could finally spill the beans a bit.
Honestly, one of the single toughest things about getting this statue done, was that light up base. Here's the deal, we could have easily just said, hey, put a light in there so it's all bright and lights up the lava. However, that's exactly what it would have looked like, someone holding a light bulb under the lava portion so it 'seemed' to be glowing. Un uh, that's not what we wanted. We wanted an actual rolling type lighting effect that made it seem like the lava was actually moving and flowing. We went through dozens of changes, tweaks, adjustments, you name it, just to correct the way the light looked. Every time it got a bit closer, but we just weren't satisfied. We didn't want to just settle and put out something we weren't happy with, so we made corrections until it was just right. When we received the final done prototype version before the production run started up, we knew we finally hit a home run. As much as we could have for a comic statue at least.
Aside from the print, COA, comic and such that we included with this statue, all we really wanted was to make sure you felt it was well worth the purchase. Hopefully everyone who picks this statue up does.

I'm glad someone from Aspen came on here and explained the lighted base. I was having trouble explaining it properly. The easiest way for me to explain it is when you turn on the light the base gets brighter and darker in different spots. It's Like a revolving light under the base.
I hope that helps you guys out.
P.S. For the Aspen guys, I don't regret getting this statue at all. I love it.
