I'm pretty sure that's the whole point behind them, man. Collectors have children, toddlers, newborns, and what have you that wanna share their love of collecting with them, and I'm sure GG thinks about that. I wanted to get Vader's Little Princess for my daughter, but missed out on it. I bet if someone were to make pieces based off of Disney/Pixar movies, they'd sell like hotcakes to collectors who have kids.
Gentle Giant even thinks about the book nerds/DVD collectors of the world by making bookends for them. I love the way these guys think outside the box and not just the same ol' comic piece, comic piece, comic piece, T&A, T&A, T&A. I'm thinking of picking up those AT-AT bookends for myself, but at over $200 forget it. I'll wait for that price to come down, and if it doesn't and I miss out, then I miss out.
