Everyone is depressed these days. Some are for minute reasons, where some are for completely justifiable reasons.

It annoys me how the 'depressed' word is thrown around so freely by people who aren't really depressed, just worried or anxious about something, and therefore dilutes the word for those are have serious issues that can't be solved by an easy solution.

This is in no way aimed at anybody here, just my opinion from some of my experiences in life.

It's very hard to stay motivated most days. Lately, I've been sitting on the couch and browsing the internet all day. I don't like going outside, and I don't have the energy to do anything else...

I like statues because they make me happy. I love to collect and admire them. It sounds strange, but they're one of the few things to put me at ease.
It doesn't sound strange at all. I've been dealing with work related anxiety for months and its really been getting to me. Sometimes, before I leave the house, I take a few minutes in my statue room and it seems to calm me down.
