New to forum: may I ask a question ?

I hope this is the spot to ask a question. I apologize if I am in the wrong place.

I purchased a Sideshow Skaar statue on EBay and it arrived with some minor damage and paint scrapes.

His belt has some hip guards and they are broken on his right side, also the packaging rubbed a couple small imperfections into the paint just above the broken belt shields.

I think the belt was just in the wrong spot when put into the box for shipping.

I am going to let the seller know shortly. Should I just fix it myself, or what can I ask for ?

If item arrived damaged you should request a full refund and return the statue. No reason to keep a damaged product regardless of if it was damaged before shipping or due to poor packaging.
