This is the reason I actually made this thread...I ran into this woman who I met in 2001 when I was just dating my wife. We lost touch over the years,, we both got married...then she sends me an email, she's divorced now...

We've swapped a few emails here and there...talking about our professional lives...she's really great, and theres a bit of a vibe, if you see what I'm saying.

In an alternate universe...who know's what might have happened...

I'll leave it at that...

Every once in awhile, I'll do a google search on her to to see if there is any info. No regrets ever because I love my wife more than anything but sometimes just curious whatever happened to her.

I hear ya.
Women are something else.

As for my "one that got away".
She was an unbelievably beautiful Russian girl from Odessa on a foreign exchange student program. I met at a pub, when I HAD to make contact because she was too incredible not too.
We went out a few times and then she had to return to Russia. She had a great accent and when she spoke it was like an Angel's harp. She looked EXACTLY like the girl who played Tom Cruise's girlfriend in Rain Man.

I still think about her, but that was then and this is now. It wasn't meant to be. I can't really say I have any regrets. I have had quite a few memorable females walk across the stages of my life, some good.....some not so good. They all left their mark on me. Now I'm married and I'm done searching for the special one, because I found her.

Actually, the one that got away in my case probably thinks of me alot more than I think of her.

And that's the way I like it.
