I had always planned to purchase this, but wanted to make sure that SDCC wouldn't blow me away with other statues to throw my money at. With only the Iron Man Mark III Maquette impressing me and question marks left over Wolverine and Magneto, Thanos on Throne was officially purchased this morning!!!

I don't like Thanos enough nor am I collecting single character statues, figures or maquettes in general, HOWEVER, this statue is amazing to me!! The Ironman Mark III maquette is also a show stopper IMO, bested only by the XM Hulkbustsr, but their different types of displays to me. CONGRATS.

Thanos looks to be statue of the year so far but I saw the XM Iron Fist in person for the first time and it is one of the most gorgeous pieces I have ever seen ... so right now it's #1 until I see Thanos in hand ......

Thanos will SMASH all the competition but I will have to say that Thanos probably won't be voted on until next year. This year the AWARD GOES TO:
