Both Harley PF and Aspen PF have had $50 knocked off + FREE US shipping added. Put on offer so soon?
Kinda puts me off pre ordering in future, knowing it's worth holding out for a deal.

I loved both her character and her costume in the movie and for once I could see the likeness with the actress (a miracle for a Sideshow piece ), so I wanted to get her but I hesitated for a long time due to the horrible large, low, boring base and the amount of plastic parts for that huge price.

I finally bought it last month at a local retailer cheaper than Sideshow of course as I didn't care for the exclusive hammer. My husband created a much nicer, higher base (Harley is pretty small compared to my other 1/4 SS female PF) and with way less footprint so that the statue can now fit in my besta with both the Green with envy Poison Ivy and the original black costume Catwoman PF. I love my Gotham City Sirens team together and she wonderfully replaces my Pyjama Harley PF that I hate so much (even if the Suicide Squad Harley is not acurate with the comics team).

Honestly, I'm not fooling myself, I know this statue is definitely not worthing this amount of cash due to the materials used and everything being too basic but she really pops in my glass cabinet (added some pics below) and I am genuinely enjoying her, so no regrets at all

Sometimes collecting is not always about logic and reason but heart and passion

Well.. My first post here and its not good.

I got her from ebay, brand new and fair to say really not good.

Hair strand broke and chipped the eye paint, finger has a crack in it, spikes bent or broken on one bracelet and a weird 'chest outline' which I think is from the packaging rubbing through the tissue paper.

I've emailed my seller to ask what can be done as this looks to be the last one they had in stock.

My 3rd statue and first that has issues... How good is sideshow customer service? Presumably replacement parts can be done or will it be a case of just sending it back for a retailer refund?

Welcome. Sucks about your Harley PF. Sideshow customer service, in my experience, has been great. But you have to order from them for them to provide a replacement or replacement parts. It might just be best to return that one for a refund.

SS wont help you with a ebay purchase.
If you used PayPal, file a refund claim.

eBay should be the first contact. They’ll take care of it.

I thought sideshow might do replacements via their retailers (seller is a shop) , I collect third party transformers too and usually that's how it go's for them.

The seller is helping me out with a partial refund and I'm going to put my model making skills into fixing her up at the weekend. Not really any other examples about to buy and after seeing how fragile the hair is and seeing what other people have gone through online with getting damaged hair multiple times...decided it's that or just leave it alone.

I'm UK based so using Sideshow themselves is a no go, higher postage + 20% vat + 6% (ish) import duty + the £8 - 10 handling fee the post people slap on is a killer...I also worry about these expensive and somewhat fragile statues just being shipped in the shipper box around the world ... I've so far had 3 Sideshow PF statues:

Black Widow from Iron Man 2 which was 'new old stock' - UK shop packed it in an outer box with foam packing peanuts and it arrived perfect.

TDK Joker - China eBayer packed it up in 3 layers of bubble wrap so it looked like a giant hamster ball (wish i'd taken a photo, it was crazy!) and it arrived perfect even via the slow 'free post' these sellers typically use. Took me half an hour to fight the bubble wrap off.

Harley came from Italy in just the shipper - damaged inside.

I've also had three smaller 1/6 statues also come in just the shipper that have been damaged (always the hair or fingers that gets it!!)...but others (from people like BBTS) were double boxed and fine.

Guess I'm unlucky with genuinely broken bits on these things

My Harley shipped direct from Sideshow. It had one eye positioned higher than the other. SSC sent out a replacement portrait, and both front hair sections snapped off in transit. They are super fragile. SSC sent me another portrait and all was well.

The gold spiked cuff's made from rubber.. i'm sure Sideshow could have come up with something better, like gold chromed plastic or metal cuff's. Look closely between the 3rd & 4th spike on the left, my Harley's cuff as a hole in it.
