Thumbs up Bugatti Veyron

Bugatti Veyron

Just watched Top Gear a TV program, which reviews the latest cars in production and concept cars. One of the presenters Jeremy Clarkson raced the Bugatti from Turin to London against a small light aircraft.

This is the fastest and most powerfull road legal car ever produced with 1000bhp and a top speed of 252mph. It is also one of the most expensive at £840,000 ($1.48million dollars).

To say this car is stunning would be an understatement. Its probably the greatest car ever made for the road.

“It's not that it can do 252mph, it's the way it manages to do 252 so effortlessly that impresses me most. At high speed, a McLaren F1 feels like the Bell X-1, a mass of vibrations and terror. At high speed, the Bugatti feels like an Airbus - solid, planted, safe.”

The thing that catches my eye the most about that car is the 16 cylinder engine.

Wow! Now thats an automobile. However I do not like the grill. It doesn't fit the design. Anybody ever tour a sports car factory? Lamborgini, Porche, Austin Martin, Rolls, etc... I'd like to go to one. I could go to the Corvette plant and tour that no problem, but I already know people that work there. They've told me all about it. I'd be interested to see how they build their vehicles.
