Are you sure? I'd have guessed he was planning to stay, considering he stopped writing his famously detailed reviews on his blog a while ago to concentrate more on his posts here. (His blog is nowhere to be found either.)

It is against forum policy now for members to post their YouTube videos from their channel. For example nearmint post statue reviews on here and can no longer do that.

I'm guessing it had more to do with a recently partially purged thread regarding the upcoming "Captain Marvel" movie that took on a decidedly political tone. We all know that politics are a no-no, but we also know that some frequent offenders have been known to instigate and steer topics in that direction to serve as a platform for their own beliefs. That said, I'm sure there was at least one frequent offender (and likely an early pot-stirrer) [or more] that still seems to be around and is seldomly rebuked or at least not visibly or publicly. A little more parity would seem fair.
