They made the surface of the helmet pretty rough also, the digital sculptor has not understood the helmet design here.

Anyways I don't do 1/4 scale anymore, I'm out. Reading the other threads it seems they changed the aliens scale to 1/4 scale too, licensing issues they say. A pity.

than you can move on thats it Bye

license issue? seems you can not read? they are telling they dont hold 1/3 scale Coolprops holding it not sure what is the issue? Prime1 state is 1/4 scale.

Well he's not wrong about the texture and damage, they have taken it to an extreme so it isn't a bad thing to question it at this early stage while they can still alter it.

Regarding scale, licensing issues are understandable, but we were told that these would be 1/3 so today's announcement is a bit out of the blue. You should expect to see a few critical and disappointed comments and they probably don't deserve a sarcastic reply. I'm sure these will turn out great eventually however...

I think they probably told us these would be 1:3 while they were still in partnership with CP, but were forced to switch to 1:4 after they parted ways for whatever reason.

Whatever reason simple answer is Fox granted Prime1 Alien and Predator license why would you still partnership with them if they have they own license share profit each other doesnt make any sense.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I wish it was 1/3, but I'm still in for 1/4.

They can as they have just made one. The relationship with CP began and ended with the Dog which is the reason for it being a different scale. Prime 1 don't have the license to make 1/3.

I'm almos tempted to cancel it now as you know full well Prime 1 will make a Dog in 1/4 at some point...

Also, regarding the sculpted damage, I agree that I'd rather it wasn't there. Here is their official response....

"Please note sculpt damage much easier for production and less mistake we want to make something easier for factory worker to follow. We can make the best 1 first prototype accurate but for us most important will be the final inhand product what customer will get not proto."
That response, whut? I figure a smooth, undamaged mask would be easier to work with.

Anyway, between that and the news of these being 1/4 I'm quite less excited than I was hoping to be. If the mask-less head sculpt is accurate there's a chance I'll still bite.

So are we going to have a bunch of small 1/4 scale aliens and a masterful 1/3 scale dog alien sticking out like a sore thumb now?

Very unfortunate decisions.
