Kingdom Come: Superman, Hawkman, & Red Robin Statue

I got this statue yesterday, paid very little for it on eBay. The statue is small, as in the description (6 3/4-inches tall x 6-inches wide x 4-inches deep), not very detailed and OK paint job. I'm a big fan of Kingdom Come so I like it, but I'm a bit disappointed with the level of detail (or lack thereof) on Superman, and there is something strange going on where Hawkman's wings connect. I understand it's small scale, and maybe I have been spoiled by the large scale.

That being said, it's a nice addition to my collection (http://www.kalel.com/superart), my daughter was looking at it for 1/2 an hour or so.

I'm not sure I know what you mean about the wings...they are connected
@ the shoulder/back area and to Hawkmans wrap. The bottom of wings are not attached to the base. Is yours different?? It is a small but nice...
do you have the Lantern companion piece??

These statues seemed like a real clusterf**k to me, separate minis might have done well but three random characters connected on a base that looks like an action figure accessory isn't going to cut it. It might be time to stop flogging the desicated corpse of Kingdom Come for cash anyways...

The wings, connected on the back of Hawkman, they look flimsy, like a bad glue job and smeared pain, I'll take a picture this weekend.

I don't have the companion piece, I'm sticking with Superman pieces, G-d knows there are enough of them recently.

I don't mind Kingdom Come pieces, I think DC completly missed the boat on the merchandising of that series. I would, however, like quality pieces which represent that great book.

Some of those Kingdom Come pieces were just a mess, the Gog statue is possibly the worst thing i've seen by DCD, production and all.

I have this diaorama and like it. If the line will continue with batman, Wonder woman, gog ...etc, I will continue buying cos the book is goddamn good.

I've said this once and I'll say it again. Statues based on comic mini-series will not do well. These are perfect examples as are the Diamond "1602" pieces. I'm also willing to bet we will be able to find Diamond Age of Apocalypse statues in a year or two for 9.99 or less as dealers try to dump unsalable pieces.

i love kingdom come, but the statues that have come out so far are a dissapointment. DC totally screw up this line with the mini statues and the details are so bad. give me full size statues done by bowen and i will be all over it
