I'd be lying if i said she wasn't inspired by Jessica Lange and King Kong. Of course we don't have the rights to kong so this is just our spin on a blonde with a big gorilla pal. We are developing a backstory for her and I'm pretty certain this will be the first piece we release post NYCC. I am confident our work will be even better this year. And yes; the Tarzan pieces are still in the pipeline...

I was thinking about a more tribal base. There are a bunch of jungle girl images with natives wearing masks. I remember a Bettie Page jungle girl cover like that. Dave Stevens drew some stuff like that too. Also the videogames Jungle King and Legendary Axe. The girls were kind of in distress but in a pin up nature. I think Jungle King had a Tarzan inspiration. But that could be fun having the girl with that sort of base.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

That's a beautiful concept and sculpt!
Would you be able to tell us if it will be 1/4 or 1/3 scale?

Wow, this looks really good. 1/3 scale would be great, with full cast off, like the new Queen of Vampires - that would be a keeper.

I'm hoping to see it in 1/4 scale... Hopefully with the hand base it will be a big enough presentation so it doesn't need to be 1/3.
