I like it a lot. My only complaint is Alfred looks exactly like Lex Luthor. They should have given him a mustache or something.

Watched the first episode and liked it. My impressions so far...

PROS
  • I'm digging the animation style
  • Good atmosphere
  • I like how Gotham is portrayed

CONS
  • Not sure how I feel about how Alfred is being portrayed
  • I don't really care for the look of Batman's cowl

Overall I think it shows potential and I already like it better than "Brave and the Bold" and "The Batman" so while it may not be the next BTAS it seems to be a step up. IMO anyway.

Not digging the look of Batman but for the most part the animation is nice. Hopefully they don't keep using lame villains.

Magpie is basically Catwoman with a few alterations. Out of costume, she looked more like Selina than Selina has looked like Selina in any other Batman cartoon.

I dropped it from my DVR line-up. The computer animation looks horrible, IMO: very stiff and slow, like something that would have come out years ago. I also don't like the portrayal of Alfred as some Cockney former MI-6 bad@$$. I prefer the dignified "gentleman's gentleman".

So far the show has been fine. Still too early to judge it. But I do agree about Alfred. I do not like the look. He looks like Agent 47. lol And they are saving the big time villains for later. Almost all cartoon shows or animated shows do this--saving the best for later.

Having two daughters I really like the prospect (and rumors) that Batman will have two female sidekicks in Katana and Batgirl.

The kids watched the second episode with me and while the four year old loved it the eight year old hated it, largely in part to the look of Batman.
Overall it was decent. I liked it a lot more than B&B but a little less than The Batman thus far. I do like the shows dark look but the animation seems dated like the old Mainframe ReBoot and beast Wars shows with little to no ambient "life" in Gotham.

Not a fan of the computer animation.

Do like the idea of a younger, more involved Alfred.
