Never even heard of this guy but just watched the highlights. Solid job requiring a limited number of pitches

also happy to see that the final batter didn't run like crazy to try and get to 1st on the strikeout when the catcher missed the ball. Nice to see he just did a light jog then basically stopped half way down the baseline so the throw could be completed and the perfect game preserved

Congrats to him !

Awesome job !

Amazing how some of the games best pitchers never pitched one and every now and then someone virtually unknown will do it.

He did that because he didn't think he swung at the pitch not because he was "respecting" the pitcher. He was screaming at the ump.

Sad to see it happen to the home town team but they suck so bad this year its nice to see something good happen in our park.

Such an achievement and it couldn't have happened in more dramatic fashion. I can't imagine how bad that catcher would have felt if he didn't get to that ball in time.

Kudos to Humber, even if he is a White Soc

Gotta say, it was refreshing to see the umps get it all right. I'm still bitter that Galarraga of my beloved Detroit Tigers was hosed because of a moronic umpire.
