comic shops (if they buy), ebay, local sellers OR if they're worthless then donate them to a kids hospital or something as they'd be appreciated

This topic seems to pop up from time to time. eBay the best I've seen to get a good value. Perhaps CGC the comics to guarantee price and condition. Comic shops offered little to me. Online shops used to be good but now they are more picky about what they buy and the price they buy at.

Yeah I think I am going to sell them as runs not individual. Probably just use the bay

So this Fall, I'm finally planning the task of selling the lion's share of my collection (12,000 or so comics). I think I'm gonna finally up and join CGC and maybe start certifying the gems. My question to you all. Which 10 or so comics from the past 30 years or so, would you slab for sale? Which books, do you feel, would be most worth it in terms of return? I'm going to take my time liquidating but would like to start off with some "bang". I pretty much have everything produced of importance in the last 30 years. Not so sure I'm ready to part w/ my Silver yet or if ever. Any advice would sure be appreciated.

Man, all my slabs are selling really well. The raws I've been selling in lots/runs. Every dollar I've made has been put into my SLC/Ottley fund. eBay has been great lately.

I wish there was a CGC office in Canada. It would make things so much simpler. I'd be slabbing things left and right.

You know those comics sealed in plastic and it has a grade in the corner.
You can't touch the comic, you can't read the comic.
That's a slab.
