The problem with the originals falling over wasn't so much the bases or a lack of sufficient metal but the magnets not being inserted flush in the feet causing the figure to be imbalanced an easily tip over even from vibrations.

I still think the Jason Bishoujo is amazing. I sold mine because it didn't go with what I collect at all but god dam it is sculpted so well and the detail is fantastic. Well worth the price.

I don't really have an issue with a second release because they weren't marked as limited releases before.

That's big jump. I do know that costs for making figures has risen over the last few years by a lot. It's evident in practically every company.

I must agree. So now that I paid 200.00 for my Jason only to see it go down to 70.00. They should have changed or added a new part. there goes more money down the drain. All my overtime wasted for nothing. Thanks koto.

Welcome to the world of collectibles.

Rereleasing pieces seems to be a norm for most statue companies now. Look at Yamato with their DC line. They released 5 or 6 versions of their Harley Quinn. Look at Tweeterhead that is releasing long sold out pieces.

I am not happy about them releasing these either.... But I would have skipped paying $200 for a bishoujo and just moved on.

Why pay $200 for a bishoujo?
The feet have to sit flush with the base or no amount of magnetism will stop fall overs.
On my original the magnets in the feet stick out and don't give a smooth fit with the base.
