Comic Art Fraud - eBay seller "eroticartboys" sells photocopies!
Hi all,
This was just brought to my attention, so I thought I'd pass it along. This eBay seller is selling photocopies of original artwork, many of which are by our artists. I have contacted eBay to inform them of the copyright infringement, but some of these auctions end in less than 7 hours, so just wanted to give you all a "heads up" so that no one mistakenly bids on them thinking that they are originals. You can see all of the seller's fraudulent listings HERE.

Thanks for the heads up Court
Does eBay even do anything about these? We had the recent case where the McF Bataman cover was listed as well as a print and I know that a ton of people reported it but the auction was never taken down. Is it possible they don't have a problem with these "print" auctions?

It has been my experience that eBay does nothing when another eBay reports just about anything. They like to act like they care but, at the end of the day, they only care about money. They turn a blind eye to shill bidding, grab bag auctions, and just about anything else of a similar nature.
On the other hand, they DO seem to take copyright infringement very seriously (probably because they have some sort of legal liability if they are informed about it and do NOT act on it). However, the only way to address this is to file a "Notice of Claimed Infringement" through the "Verified Rights Owners" portal - and you have to be the owner of said original copyright, or an agent for the owner. So...I spent an hour this morning filling out the necessary paperwork, and will wait and see if they act in time. If not, then I am tempted to win all of their items and neg them on each and every one. ;-)

OK, I see that the thread was moved, but now I can't find it from the home forum. How would I normally navigate to this thread? Still trying to figure out the lay of the land here.
Thanks, Court

There you go. That is the ONLY reason they care.
