thats because Myx doesn't WANT him to be jelly, i'm not much of a thor guy but he never struck me as a thinking man, would he be able to outwit Myx into all those stupid backwards name games like Clark has over the years?

Agreed. He's no Hulk, but yeah, he's not Clark either in the brains department. I was contemplating more what kind of effect, Myx's powers would have on Thor because of his magical/God status. Mentally he is no match.
Actually Myx vs. Loki could make for an amazing story!

I thought his main weakness was Kryptonite. He does have a weakness for magic, but it's been ignored a lot over the years as well. Kyrptonite has always been the thing that could stop him cold...

Right.
I think I've seen it explained before that Supes doesn't have a specific "weakness" towards magic (in the same way that Kryptonite is his downfall), but that he has the same level of resistance towards magic that most other heroes, let alone "Joe Public", possess.
He's no less resistant to it than any regular, non-powered humans would be. The fact that it's explained as a "weakness" just means it's not something that bounces off of him harmlessly.. not that its mere presence spells his demise.

I'm with ya, Teague. Thor's villains are way tougher than Superman's (maybe with the exception of Rudy). So, if this was Thor vs. Superman's rogues gallery, I'd give it to Thor.
