After three or four looks, i'm still not sure, though I'm leaning to it being the older one too.

The original was adequate, (if a little disappointing).
The newer one is a huge improvement, IMO- but the differences might be subtle enough when eyeballing it from a distance, and without the other at it's side to make a direct comparison.

which then begs the question, why on earth wouldn't they want to take this opportunity to show off the updated one?

I've already paid for it either way, but damn, I hope that wasn't just a useless tease we'll never have in-hand.

It was actually the new short hair portrait that convinced me to order the XM Aquaman.

Looks like I'll have to wait a little longer to see the new portrait displayed on the statue.

On XM's website it says Q4 2019.. it could be anytime now.


I just noticed on their release list they have Batman 1972 1:6 scale... must be another comic cover statue.

Wouldn't be the first time XM shipped multiple statues at the same time, it sucks if you only made partial payments because you'll end up getting a whopper of a bill all at once.
