Yeah, an outpost would make sense. They could've made to the home planet, though. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that the Engineers have been all but wiped out.

Actually there are 2 videos intermixed together, one where she is all optimistic and looking forward to the mission and a second video that appears to be filmed during some unpleasant times.
