That said, there were 12 of us in the cinema last night and my wife hated it.
Not really a spoiler..... seeing 'Chopper' and 'Kenny who?' scrawled on the walls brought a smile to my face.

thanks for the info guys.
Lets hope the sequels get green lit then. I know I'll be doing my part and seeing it in the cinemas. I think it looks great and Alex Garland is a brilliant writer so I have faith it will be good!

The Lucky One 8/10 Usually don't like chic flicks but my gf wanted to watch it so it was this or Safe. Decent story with not as many predictable moments as you would except for this genre. Zac Efron showed more range than I was expecting. Had me thinking he would make a pretty good Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider canidate with the right script.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Dredd 3d - 9/10: Watched many a gore movie in my time, bit even I looked on in disbelief when some of the more visceral moments take place. Story is pretty standard, but the action, gore and tone are ripped right out of the comics. The slo-mo effects are wonderful, dredd is perfect and Its just lord of fun. Omly thing i wished more for is a more powerful ending but based on the story it made sense.
Dredd has been redeemed!

Dredd 3D 7/10. Certainly superior to the original and more faithful to the comics. I've read a number of the GNs and am by no means an expert. I'm sure fans of the comic will enjoy this. The high frames per second make for some very interesting slow motion imagery. Karl Urban is excellent as Dredd, not sure about the Anderson casting. Lena Headly is such a fine actress and beautiful woman even looking rough and scared up.

Hunger games: 7/10. Looking forward to part 2
The dictator: 5.5/10. Some funny scenes, but the enjoyment for his movies stopped for me after Borat.
