Did they scrap the awesome blue colour that was behind the scales on the front arms of the prototype? Whenever someone posts a picture it looks like that's missing.

I have mine on pre order with BBTS and I don't know if people's pictures are bad or if this statue is completely off from the prototype.

Mine does have blue behind the scales, though it doesn't look exactly like the prototype. It's more of a metallic blue and how easy you see it depends on the lighting

Ah ok. Thanks for clarifying! The pictures I've seen here and in other groups have made him look REALLY bad, so I'm worrying about mine now. Hopefully they're just bad photos!

This is how mine arrived today.
I'm trying to decide on exchange or refund.

I'd say try for an exchange. It's an amazing piece and it deserves a second chance!

I will say, the packaging for this is an absolute disaster. Mine arrived with one of the spikes in the wing damaged. Unfortunately, I live outside of the US and I used a forwarding service... So I'll have to settle with super glue.

Terrible Sideshow QC strikes again!

Well after this awful QC, I've decided that this is my last Sideshow Statue ever.

They forgot to paint the insignia on toothless's tail. Wing tips broken at factory, and some other tips that were shoddily repaired at the factory.

It's a great looking statue otherwise, but I don't want to have to waste time every time I get a statue from them getting replacement parts.

Sorry to hear about the QC issues but this little guy is on Waitlist so the demand was real.

Luckily, mine has just arrived ... intact, which seems to be a miracle. I am wondering whether they will keep this line going.
