It looks great, love the visual style and turn based combat system.
I was thinking something like Darkest Dungeon and i wasn't far off.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Don't fighters cost less than RPGs to develop
Ie
Successful 2-D Indie Fighter Skullgirls
CotD Darkstalkers type 2D Fighter would be cool
Will need to see more of this game to make up mind (current RPG)

I played the game today at the Sideshow booth. While it's not the kind of game I'd ever seek out, it was pretty fun. Once it's fully fleshed out and works properly I can see myself playing it.

I'm not fond of the large companies needing funding from fans, consumers, etc to pass off risk. I haven't watched all the videogame Kickstarters but I don't think I've ever seen one where the game itself is not a part of the rewards. Unless I missed it. But I don't think I did. I guess since it's free to play they figure people will just download it. But still some people like physical copies of games.
Sideshow can't fund $250,000 and take the risk themselves? This doesn't seem to be like the Bloodstained situation. I can't fund it myself as it just doesn't seem interesting to me in terms of the game and the rewards they are offering.
