I don't know, maybe I'm not remembering it right, but I thought this line was more of an homage focusing on one era rather than being exclusive to it. I think Harley starting the line is evidence of that. In any case...I'm hoping we see a Bane. I need that guy in the lineup.

Since we got Harley, I don’t think he is completely off the table either. But, since this line do heavily focus on superpowers era, we probably won’t see him any time soon. I think superpowers era bat rogues like poison ivy, penguin, Mr. Freeze, riddler, scarecrow, and two face will take precedence.

Even if Bane is added at some point, he's a few years away from reality. There are so many other characters in active development.

I hope he's reasonably sized, though, and not 2 or 3 times Batman's body mass.

I think XM will get to Bane first before Tweeterhead does, if you don’t mind rebirth Bane.

That’s how I took it too. I’d expect we’ll see Bane at some point.

Considering this line is all of DC and not just Batman universe, I think Bane would be quite a ways off.

That's how it is. As already mentioned, Harley alone should be proof enough. 'Super Powers' is just a name paying homage to that era indeed, not a constraint. I don't understand the raised eyebrows.

I asked Chad about Bane during a Facebook video. He said that they will be making Bane. It will just be a couple years, b/c they want to put some distance between theirs and all the ones other companies are putting out right now.
