LEGENDARY HEROES update and other DC info!

I had an interesting meeting with Clampett while I was at Wizard World LA. Apparently at least 90 of the 100 canvas pieces for the new Jim Lee/Alex Ross collaboration ("Legendary Heroes") have sold already. Clampett is bumping the price up (probably by as much as $200) THIS WEEK.

Hopefully you all got your pre-orders in, because if you didn't, this is SOLD OUT (though the paper version is still available). It will be interesting to see if the paper version takes off now (since the canvas sold out).

There are several other pieces that are "endangered" (only 10 or so left in Clampett's inventory), so if anyone is "on the fence" they might consider:

Joker's Reckoning
Descent on Gotham
In the Light of Justice
Superman: 20th Century
Superman: Mythology
Batman: Mythology

These are all canvas versions. Many of these have already seen a price-hike anyway.

Just thought some of you might like to know!

Which one is "In the Light of Justice"? Is it the one that complements the recent Ross Avengers piece?

It's a great compliment to the Original 7 piece.

I think "In the Light of Justice" is the best JLA piece...period. Just my opinion!

I don't think the Upper Deck one will ever get made...especially since Clampett just did "Perfect Alliance".

I have heard there will be a fourth "Mythology" piece at the end of the year (perhaps sooner) after they had told me the portrait series was DONE. Ah well...I'll start that thread in a couple months!

Well, that's really too bad.

Who would that be? The cover of the paperback version of Mythology?
