This. It's been brewing for years and began with OT vs Prequels. And I really think it depends on your age. There is a large segment of fans (especially on Reddit) that only grew up with the Prequels and will argue all day they are superior to the OT (and they're serious).
So much of what people didn't like about TLJ has been blown out of proportion, more than any movie I can ever recall. My friends and I argued for days after our initial viewing, I thought I was complete spent yet here I am in this thread LOL.

I can't understand how someone would go all the way from liking it the theater to turning off after 20 min at home unless during the time in between they let the internet "convince" them on some things lol. Sorry.
