Alex is a great statue. And mine has some pretty nice shading. While he's much lighter than Sagat, he's not supposed to be as tan.
But the absence of the painted vein work really hurts. After seeing that type of paint app on Sagat it's difficult to go back.
On the plus side he fits in well with the older PCS statues that didn't have as many skin tones. Even with the missing vein he probably has the 2nd best pair app in the PCS lineup.
(Of course I love my repainted Chun Li, but she's not showing much skin)
Bottom line:
Alex is an amazing statue. And it's equally amazing that he came our as good as he did with the Junk Factory that worked on him!
From breakage to paint app, (to botched shipping) this PF was nearly doomed.
Thank goodness I've got him in one piece.
