FX Show 2010 ????
Is the FX International Show (of Orlando, Florida) going to have a convention this year? The website has been updated to say "Fall 2010," but it's said that for quite sometime with now. There's no dates set up, no guests announced, no nothing (which is VERY weird for this show as big as it is.)
I'm just really surprised because it's been well over a year since the last show. Apparently their website did get hacked, just as I thought months back, so I'm wondering if this has to do with the delay.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

i talked to the promoter at megacon this year, and he was having a problem securing a location for the show. he still wants to put the show on and is doing everything he can to insure it happens. but as of now its still up in the air.

Hmmm. Is there a conflict with the price or is it just a matter or booking/availability issues?
This (and MegaCon) are my "go-to" Cons for meeting media guests, so I'm hoping they're able to put something together, but still book the "star power" that they're known for.

FX is pleased to finally announce that FX 2010 will be on October 15 - 17 the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.

Thanks for the update, Batfan!!! I'm definitely looking forward to this one. An October show might be a little difficult for me to make, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Has anyone heard about a guest list yet? 65 days away and still no updates. I'm beginning to worry. I'll keep the faith though.

I'm not sure what's going on there. I emailed them the other day and nothing.
They have always put on a decent show and has at least gotten a few A list artists.
I'm not sure I'll even attend and it's in my backyard. I'll probably be broke from NYCC a week before.

i emailed them before i left for sdcc about getting a table and i still havent heard back. i think it might be safe to say this show isnt happening this year
