BBTS Question
So I pre-ordered a item that's $145.00 I usually just buy outright from BBTS, but didn't want to risk missing this one. Anyways I used a debit card and noticed today that BBTS has deducted $1 from my card which is usually the sign of a hold being placed in the coming days for the full amount.
I called them, but they won't be open until Monday or Tuesday.... Does anyone know if they're gonna put that huge hold on my card or will they not charge me until shipping time?

The $1 is just to verify the card. BBTS charges when the item becomes available, or if you turn on pile of loot and they charge you for the item, but only charge shipping for all items at once to save on doing individual orders.

Also, the dollar is is refunded in 3 - 7 days, Paypal and other merchants do this too, verification wise.

This is what they claim, however I always get charged shipping for each individual purchase even with pile of loot on.
Not sure if that's because I'm international however I hate it. It means if I cancel any item, I don't get the shipping payment back.

Is that all in/on one order? That makes a huge difference, if it is then that seems wrong to bill each individually.

When items are put in the pile of loot the shipping price does go up but since it's all being put in one box overall the shipping is cheaper then if everything was shipped out by itself.
IE: when they put a Bishoujo in my pile of loot it was the price of the Bishoujo and $10 for shipping, then I got another statue, instead of the shipping going up to $20 which it would if the items were shipped separate it only went up to $13 total, so I'm saving $7

Yes but if you cancel this, you won't get your $3 back.
At least, from my experience it doesn't seem to.
(this is also assuming it's a pre-order, I couldn't quite tell you for something that is already in stock.)

Only in stock items go into the pile of loot, if the item is a pre-order you don't get charged for anything until it arrives at their store and then it goes into your pile of loot. So cancelling a pre-order item doesn't cost you anything unless you had to put a deposit on it but BBTS.com usually only requires that on items that are like $2000+
As far as canceling an item that is already in your pile of loot I'm not sure what the procedure is on that, you might get charged a restocking fee (( shrug ))

Hey B2S, I get charged shipping on pre-order items.
Not sure if it's an international thing.
