i just think it is unlucky...it is the shipping company drivers for sure.Their misshandling OR the people that handle these at customs etc.
Mine came all the way to Australia...no snaps,no broken fins.all intact.
Touchwood it never happens to me...cause my next purchase is Grace....

Perhaps yes the base is very heavy and if the statue is not properly plated on foam it creates a fragile area (ankles)

that was why i was hesitant to buy online as i think that breakage part is the weakest as the base is so heavy.

i just got mine from my lcs

Sur it's better, but I just saw in one LCS and the price in France is just delirious .475€=682$ imagine for both more 1300$ , humm no comments ...

Replacement wings have shipped already (least first wave I believe)

Haven't heard about replacement statues yet.

Puntapret / All,

The replacement statues will be arriving at Chris' later this week. Finally!! If you're waiting on a replacement, you should thankfully be getting it very soon. Hit up Chris and/or Becky and they'll make sure to help you out. Thanks!

If Aspen wants to deal with less headaches that may only be from the flaw of shippers throwing their stuff around, simply make the base separate from the statue. there is reason why almost all statues with relatively heavy bases are made separately.
I agree with this sentiment. I refrained from preordering this because I expected that there would be some breakage issues (wings, legs, etc). I have the other two and just need Aspen to complete the set. They need to step back and carefully assess future statue designs because ultimately, issues like these will only add to their operating costs.
