Great shots there! Fun piece for sure. Nice to see these characters represented so well in their OG fashion. Totally agree with your outlook in the review. The only down side I really find about this piece is Namor vs IM seems like a weird VS maybe that's just me?

Namor is certainly known more for his battles against the FF, the Hulk, and even Dr. Doom. However, early on, Namor did face off against Iron Man quite a number of times as well. Here are some classic covers featuring their memorable battles. Incidentally, Namor battled the Avengers alongside the Hulk while Iron Man was still wearing his original golden armor so their tussles go as far back as year-1 of silver age Marvel, i.e., 50 years ago. The Namor vs Iron Man is definitely an old-school choice, which explains the head scratching of most fans, as well as the really low edition number of only 200. Once Namor cleaned up his act and became more of a "good guy" and less the angry and entitled Prince of the Realm of Atlantis, he didn't battle the other heroes as much.

Great review and pics. To be honest, I hadn't given this piece much consideration as it came out long before I started collecting, but it is a very fine looking piece.

Best Marvel Diorama in my opinion because of it's base. I feel refreshed when I look at this dio. Brilliant.

Beautiful piece.
It is kind of sad that we don't see dioramas anymore from Sideshow. There were nicely done, well designed.

Great review of a really nice diorama. I would like to get a bit of a feel for the scale. It doesn't look exactly 1/6 but 1/10 neither. Can you enlighten me?

The Bowen scale although advertised by many as 1/6, it is actually 1/7 to 1/8. The first Sideshow Dioramas were around that size but this one particularly was a tiny bit larger. It definitely displays nicely with Bowen and Kotobukiya pieces.
Here are some comparison pics by another collector:
