I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

If you're going to do a 1/3 piece then, go all out and do it justice (glass eyes, premium fabric, translucent resin, etc).

But Cinemaquette does not have glass eyes

True, but they use translucent resin.

Ugh. This is the problem with this much time and all this back and forth.
It just gets to a point where you wish you hadn't spent the money or time giving it thought.

In respect to each company's production...each company is different. XM I think has the luxury of their own dedicated factory painters and QC guys. I think PCS is different in that regard.
The most important thing I would think for collectors is does the end product meet or exceed expectations. I don't think Jerry wants to put out a subpar product. So extra patience is probably needed in this regard.

Yep, And it will be closer to 3 years since pre-order, actually 1 month short if it remains on schedule for a July 2017 release.
Hopefully there are no issues like it appears on Akuma transferring to a 3rd factory.

XM has their own factory?
I wonder, in the interest of conversation, if Jerry would be willingg to comment on what he personally saw as lacking from the last sample he posted a pciture of.
I course I know what I think but it would be nice to hear the thoughts of the one making the decisions.

Not quite as tough as Robocop was to make, but a close second.
See, Darkness is one of my favorite characters of all time so that statue isnt getting shipped until I feel it is perfect

The Darkness eyes ended up being too small to do in acrylic. That was one of the big delays.
