I never got to see any of that. Mind you I didn't live in an area with a competitive scene.
We did get all the hacked "rainbow" editions though!

The arcade age was different atmosphere. Tournaments are more friendlier now since everything went into the home consoles. It's easier to mute or block someone online versus having the guy standing next you talking smack.

Just a quick question to you guys. Throughout all the SF games, what stage music was your fav?

It's between Ryu, ken and Guile. Probably Ryu's from II.

Nice. For me my favourite has always been cammys theme from super, ryu's from alpha 3 and chun li's from third strike. Have to admit that I hated the music from sfIV. Nothing stood out to me.

I liked the revisited classics but still prefer the classics. I've always been obsessed with 16-bit music.

One of my favourites. Speaking of SoR, I think there's enough love to start a small statue line but I doubt there'll ever be a company willing to take the risk. Maybe when I'm older, hopefully with more money, I'll commission the entire cast

The PC CD version of SSFII Turbo had some really good versions of the various tunes; Ryu's was particularly good from what I remember.....
As for my own personal all-time favourite bit of music, it has to be Guile's theme (CPS2 version). Cammy's theme gets an honourable mention, too.
