Kotobukiya Azur Lane Taiho

I know we don't see much of Kotobukiya's anime / video game pieces here, but I just wanted to give a shout out to their fantastic Taiho - she is absolutely gorgeous and a stunning work of design... This a rare piece that is transcendent IMO - you don't have to know a thing about Azur Lane to appreciate what a beautiful figure this is...

Stunning (both the figure and your pics, DD).

I completely agree about their appeal. I think that goes for a lot of the Japanese figures. I only own a couple that I bought just because they caught my eye. I had no idea who the characters were and know nothing of the source games/anime. They're just so well done, vibrant, detailed and capture motion beautifully.

It'd be easy for me to get lost down that rabbit hole so I try to stay content by admiring the pieces through talented photographers such as yourself and those over at MFC.

I don't understand why at least a thread about all these anime figures doesn't exist. I'm not familiar with all these universes, but I see sometimes some beautiful things. Kotobukiya is not alone in this market.

Thanks Augen, and you are so right about this being a dangerous rabbit hole - I've spent what feels like an admiral's ransom to acquire even a partial fleet of these beautiful ladies

Can't believe you sold your Arkhalla DesertDragon!
Would have loved to see that one in person.

Arkhalla was amazing for sure - Sadly I needed to make room for an influx of hopefully equally amazing statuary
