XM Studios Hawkeye

When the SS Hawkeye was first revealed EVERYBODY thought it was the greatest Hawkeye ever. The SS PF still has a great pose, XM's pose is more "standard Hawkeye", but the details and the paint job on the XM are better. The darker purple and other color variations; the sculpting details on the gloves and bands; the bows make SS's attempt look lazy; the quiver actually having a belt to hang by...but the quiver...SS's compact quiver actually makes more sense for a guy this active who leaps around and throws his body into danger. Can't do as much with a huge circular quiver, as better as it looks it's just impractical for this character. SS's is still great but XM definitely capitalized by coming out later and making sure theirs looks more refined than the PF.

My first XM Statue

I'm a casual fan of Hawkeye at best, but this statue is amazing. I always preferred this costume. I can't stand the modern look. No substance.

Next to Magneto, I think this (Tied with IM VII) is the best piece XM Studios produced.

I'd need to get another job if they decided to make Venom or Cyclops.

Congrat! I'm trying to collect the best representation for my favourite characters and this is the best for Hawkeye (IMHO)

Have the Sideshow EX but never was a fan of that one. They also did not sell well. XM's take on Hawkeye is 100% better.

Thanks guys. I always wanted an XM Piece. Thor and Ms Marvel are my favorite characters they produced so far, I think Magneto's in the most impressive but I personally wanted that Hawkeye Statue. I can't get over how awesome this piece is and I'm happy I got a chance to purchase one.

Before this piece, I personally found Bowen's version to be the best

I saw nothing about a Cyclops or Venom Piece. I can only imagine how one of them would turn out. Especially Venom

One thing I give XM props for is their character selection. Sure they pick some big guns but Kraven the Hunter, Cable, Black Bolt. Glad to see they're going with hidden gems too. Also happy to see X-Men are still strong. I can't stand what the comics are doing to them, but thats a different thread discussion
