Oh I hadn’t even looked at the prototype, my comment is just on the statue itself.

To be taken seriously, if people want to critique something, an argument has to be logical and justifiable.
Show me what someone got does not look like what was advertised, not complain it didn't magically change to look like a hyper realistic/life-like statue.

I saw good pics of these and basically said the same myself "it looks just like advertised"

The reviewer is on crack lol. He makes a bunch of really dumb points. It looks exactly like the promo pics, so it's as if he never looked at the pics before buying it. Why did this joker even buy it in the first place if he dislikes it so much??...baffling. Maybe he's on dial up internet service with a 14kbps modem, so the pictures were taking forever to load and he just said F it and hit the 'Buy' button?
I saw this piece at SDCC and it looked great in person. From his video it appears to look exactly like that, so this is a big win actually. How many times have we gotten pieces that looked worse than the advertised promo pics? This one comes out looking spot on, and instead of letting out a sigh of relief, people like this guy are still whining? lol. I don't have mine in-hand yet, but I hope it looks as good as this guy's does.
Then to address some of his silly observations...he complains about the boobs, but she's wearing a loose fitting half-tank top over a sports bra, which seems to be lost on him as he's complaining there's not enough boob definition given that she's wearing "a skin tight top" huh, what? It's right there in front of him and he can't tell it's not "a skin tight top"?? The 'skin tight top' is the sports bra which is under the loose fitting top...helllloooooo LOL. He complained about the lighting in the room, maybe that was it, maybe he needed better lighting or a flashlight so he could actually see it.
And then again with the leg muscles...anyone that thinks she should have insane bulging leg muscles like Wolverine needs to go do a google image search on female powerlifters in that position to see what actual female legs look like in that position.
Anyway, yes we should absolutely complain when a statue company pulls a bait and switch on us, but here, from the looks of it, they gave us exactly what was promised

Minor point, but the weights shouldn't look like metal per the reviewer's complaint, as olympic weights are rubber. Do you even lift bro?

It killed me when he whined about the mat being plastic and not actual rubber like a real mat LOL.
Anyone here listen to Howard Stern? The guy sounds like Ass-Napkin Ed

Exactly. It should look like the source material. It's an anime/video game based statue, so you shouldn't have hyper-detailed paints. The paints are simpler by design, because that's what's appropriate here imo

I was disappointed with that as well Joppula. I understand where they were coming from with the lack of detail, but I do agree that it was partially the buyer fault.
I wonder how much does PCS and other statue companies really save by leaving out certain details?

What details? What was did you see in the promotional pics that did not make it into the final product.

Nothing qz33, as far as I can tell Chun-Li looks exactly the way it supposed to in the video.
Regarding the owners 'complaints' on you-tube about lack of muscle definition, I was just curious about how much harder would it have been for PCS to add a little more definition to Chun-Li muscles like the guy was complaining about?
I'm not saying PCS promised anything beyond what was shown in the video.
Does it really increase the cost of production that much or is PCS just taking a lazy approach?
