All of those have higher ES.

Very few or none of the Limited ES 150 or less variants have newly sculpted parts…white Storm, White Widow, black Elektra, Shadowland DD, Red and Blue Spartans, Iron Giant. I’ve had 5 of them, they all are repaints that used existing parts, even Psylocke.

Which is over 150.

Still not a high ES, but there’s exceptions to every rule. How many of the low ES variants outside of Sinestro and Oglavaiel, and waaaay back the OG Spidey PFs, have had sculpting and fabric changes from the original?

Sorry, but the best variant was the Balent Catwoman. Totally different costume, fully sculpted (the OG was pleather), brand new portrait and hair, resculpted arms and whip, pose flipped sides and direction and repainted base.

Last edited by NorthernLadMSP; 09-22-2022 at 08:50 PM. Reason: Said different costume twice

I’d love for Sideshow to do a Sam PF or the Halloween School Bus Massacre kids from Trick ‘r Treat.

I said it was a variant too but I remember at the time the artist said it’s not a variant because it’s an original sculpt that didn’t use parts from the modern Catwoman, it’s just a mirror pose of the modern Catwoman.

Hmm, odd. I also just noticed the creatures on the base are different. The OG is lions, the variant is gargoyles.

The base is really nice on the variant, a kinda bronze effect to the lions. This really is a different sculpt but obviously looks similar at first glance
