I really enjoyed Civil War. Recently pulled all the issues recently & gave them a re-read. Liked it a lot.

Is Anihilation a good read? I'm thinking of picking up that omnibus soon. How do you guys rate it?

I loved Annihilation. Have it in 3 oversized HCs so not getting the omnibus, but recommended.

IMHO, the best "event" book Marvel's done in the past 20 years. Fantastic! I own all the comics & have recently re-read them, but I'm still seriously considering buying the omnibus just to have 'cause it's such a great tale. 9/10.

EPIC.
I agree with wktf and protector here, one of the best sagas in the last decade.
I recommend Guardians of the Galaxy and Thanos Imperative too.

Cheers guys, will pick it up soon and give it a go. Is the omnibus the full story or are there more tie-ins?
I'm reading the Ultimate Spider-man omnibus right now and it gets better as you read further.

I've checked & the Omni has the complete story, in order. Unlike many of today's Marvel Epics, Annihilation didn't bleed out all over the place & kept to 4 core character books, w/ bookends of several issues on both sides.
It was followed shortly by Annihilation: Conquest, which was another Space Opera dealing with a different set of Marvel's cosmics (Star-Lord, Quasar, Wraith, & Nova). Very good too, but not as good as the original.
