I do have the infinity gauntlet series. A statue is going to have to be pretty bad ass if I'm going to buy another thanos statue that is better than my Bowen one. I collect 1/6th and 1/4th and no one is going to be able to convince me that all 1/4ths are better that all 1/6ths
Oh yeah, I definitely knew who Thanos was dating much farther back that just 15 years. His first appearances were back in the early 70's and he immeditaly become one of my favorites even back then. One could argue he didn't become super popular until the early 90's when he had a main role in Infinity Gauntle and Warlock and the Infinity Watch, but he was around long before that.

We were all more familiar with our favorite heroes villains because we saw them more often. But Thanos was seen less but the stakes were much higher. To me there were tiers.

1. Solo hero threats, that could either be tackled with 1-3 heroes. Green Goblin, Sabertooth, Red Skull etc etc.

2. Team busters. Magneto, Dr. Doom, Loki, Kang etc etc.

3. World threats that generally take team ups. Thanos, Galactus etc etc.

You do realise how ridiculous this is. Also this is what we call trolling for a reaction so be warned.

Calm down there, buddy. It's called expressing an opinion. And it's not ridiculous. Thanos was born out of Kirby's Darkseid. That's fact. Thanos entire design is a rip off of same. Starlin even admitted as much.

Way to power trip, though.
