All my friends are dead.
Soon, my acquaintances will be too.

I still catch up with a small crew of people from school - basically guys I've knowN since I was an early teen (now I'm in the thirties brigade). We catch up a couple times a week for a meal or a beer and when conditions are good we go camping etc. These guys are basically "brothers from different mothers".

Perth is a small place so there are people from school that I bump into now and then. If they want to talk then I'm more than happy to do so. If they don't then it's no skin of my rump. Most people wouldn't remember me from school since I've shaved my head and gotten into shape (kinda) LOL.

I'm from a REALLY small town. I mean like 600 people. There were 26 kids in my graduating class. I was in most of their weddings and a few were in mine. I still talk to quite a few of them actually.

I don't have facebook or myspace though, no offense to anybody who does. My wife does, she is from a bigger town and people "find" her all the time and they catch up or whatever.
