I'm sure not everyone has someone in another state they feel comfortable giving that kind of money to, or to have to have them receive and mail out your package and be responsible for super expensive art.

I hear ya. Well, I'd offer to help you out if you ever really needed something. I've had a lot of help from members off here with various things, need to pay it forward at some point. Let me know.

I haven't used them yet but will. I usually check what they have up from time to time. The good stuff is always there it seems.

I imagine that one of the main reasons why these art auction houses do so well is because the art is previewed far in advance. It's not like eBay where most sellers give fans a week to discover the piece. Also, on eBay, there's over 25000 pieces for sale. That's a lot to sift through. It's very easy to miss out on stuff.

Definitely. The event auctions through Heritage, Comiclink, Comic Connect preview the art well in advance of the auctions. People, especially art dealers, also know on X date there is an auction and can plan accordingly.

Another plus for sellers on Heritage is that most auctions are traditional auctions where bids can keep coming.

Every time I look for old comics and stuff it's almost always there. I started a thread a while back with the founder's collection. No one checked it out...
