That's just what a bot would say!!

Prove it. Let's see if your arm looks like this underneath:

If it does...we've got a problem!

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I'm honestly just here to ask questions and learn the production and manufacturing side of things, particularly resin statues. (I was told that "figurines" are mass produced ABS or PVC while the limited edition ones that are made out of resin are called statutes) And while I can't convince anyone otherwise that I'm not a bot if you really believed that I am one. I'd be really glad if anyone could answer or clear up some of my questions.

I'm just wondering does the manufacture handle what segments to bisect and turn into small pieces or does the 3d modeler deal with that making it easier for the manufacturer to print it?

Also by the looks of it huge sums of money seems to be the only barrier of entry, so would that mean anyone can create a statue company as long as they have connection in Guangzhou China and have a ton of cash?

Yeah, sorry, I'm just messin around.

Gagaliya did a good summary (as far as I know). Most of us here are just collectors, but there are producers that frequent the boards that would know more relevant information.

I don't know all their names, and which companies they work for, but if you go to this link on this forum:

https://www.statueforum.com/showgroups.php

and scroll down to 'producers', they would be the people to ask. Clicking on them and going to their profiles, and seeing how recently they were online, then sending them a PM, might get you some more info.
