She was sculpted, molded, resculpted, remolded many many times , until I felt she was perfect. At first I thought we could use the same sculpture for all three, but in reality, we ended up having to do separate sculptures as Alpha didnt feel right with the big hips of Classic/Battle.
We remade these costumes dozens of times before we got them right. We went through 4 costumers before we found our new costumer, Sam. He is new to collectibles and usually works on film projects, but he loves Street Fighter and particularly Chun Li. He was the only costumer who 'got it'
The base was designed, sculpted, molded and painted and the done over again from scratch because we felt the original was too busy.
Must have put over 1200 cumulative hours into her and Im afraid of looking at how much we spent. I eventually stopped adding it up as it was painful. But had to be done.
But I believe we have created the Chun Li that I have always wanted, and hopefully you as well
Thanks for going on this ride with us !

Thank YOU Jerry, Thank you, Thank you.
The amount of work that you and the team has put into this piece has been incredible and shines through and through. Absolutely breath taking.
It makes me proud to be a Chun Li loyalist all these years. The Classic Quipao.... Send Sam the highest praise. I gasped, I stared, I was even emotional. Every detail, perfect. From the waist embroidery to the perfect fit...It is stunning.
Going for the Legacy drop for sure.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Agreed. I'll be perfectly content with Chun Li and Cammy if she's ever being made. <3

Kudos, first of all on a great looking piece. With that being said though, how will you and the new management ensure this can even come close to being replicated in China If it was so difficult for even the experts to get it? I will be snagging a classic for sure, and that's the one that worries me most with the embroidery etc. This is the end all chun statue imo.

Feel about the same, in a way I feel I should choose between male/female fighter set-up because I plan to buy all three so space is a factor. So for the 1/3 I think girls only, can't go wrong with that choice haha
And again Jerry you rock, Akuma/Ryu were insane but Chun Li is beyond everything I have ever seen. Wonder if something can beat her
