I agree. OG Storm is still an awesome statue. My only complaint is they didn’t attach her cape to the wrists. Other than that she’s perfect. Body sculpt is top notch. Body type is on point. The exclusive portrait is everything. Paint dang near flawless on the black and the white versions.

I've just accepted the fact, that while I love the OG and the XM, the perfect Storm statue won't ever be made. This new one isn't going to be it either since it's in the Jim Lee costume.

I did not like the face on the last Storm PF. She wasn't very pretty which is why I got rid of a long time ago. I have hope for this new one though.

The "older" statues suffered from some ugliness in the faces imo. Not sure if they improved the sculpting, or just got new sculpters, or what, but the newer X-men line, outside of I'd say the Emma Frost face, have all had beautifully sculpted faces, so hopefully Storm is the same way. Jean and Rogue especially are very well done. X-23 as well. I know Newman only did Jean from that bunch, but SS seems to have brought on board some good people that can do women's faces correctly.

For me the face on OG Storm was a perfect representation of the character. I did not find it ugly at all.
