PureArts Assassin's Creed: Animus Kassandra

PureArts just revealed their next addition to their Assassin's Creed Animus line, Kassandra from AC Odyssey! I've been a huge fan of this line and think this looks great. Anyone else big fans of the series?

This is such a great line. I don't have the space or budget for all of them but I might snag an Edward Kenway down the line.

I think it's quite nice. I have the Ubisoft Alexios. Would consider this if the scale matches though I think the Alexios is more like 1/3 or 3.5. But for 899 not sure I need two Odysseys.

Nice piece....but I think the statue on the back overshadows the main character....

I think kassandra looks amazing, but I really don’t need the background statue. If I could get a version without it, I would for sure order.

I don't know the series but I like the statue very much.
Is the statue mixed media?

I like the background statue, but I think it would have been better to the side than directly behind her.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I agree. I actually find it distracting because it's the same warm colour scheme that Kassandra has. She kind of disappears into the background because of it. I guess that's the idea of an Assassin, but I'd rather it not be the case for a statue of one!

I would buy it in a heartbeat if they offered the same thing without Athena.

I like the statue. I'm just worried with such a base it will be $$$ for me. Like to see more of the face sculpt as that is where it lives and dies for me.

It's $899 USD, and it's up on PureArts and Sideshow already. The face sculpt isn't really shown in photos, but you can see them do a closeup of it in a live stream on their Youtube yesterday. It's about 15 minutes in.

One of the interesting things they say ion the video is they don't pay some high-talent artist to paint the paint master only to have it downgrade in production. They actually get the factory to make the paint master so it will be the same people painting it in production. I think a LOT more companies need to adopt this method. I was always surprised at how PureArts was able to get almost identical to the paint master, and I guess this is why!
