Yeah, what matters is ultimately what you get.

Thanks for the information gra007.

True, maybe if the statue had more of a white, marble look, it wouldn?t be as bad.

Also, I haven?t played the game in a bit, but that close up is not really how I remember her looking. Hmm?

I do love the character and game, but I still can?t swing $900 on a 1/4. All well.

Then the statue will probably cost over 1000 euros in Europe. Without the the big background statue, the price could be halved.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Its not even about the paintjob as far as facesculpt goes. They use the same resin P1 used for their early female pieces its too translucent for my liking, and looks like silicone, or a candlewax, if that makes sense. I truly love Purearts, but this is a second female portrait (after jill valentine) that is butchered. Whatever excuse they might have - they simply dont do female portraits well. Its a pity really. Great Line, but first statue that im going to pass on

Nope, the entire line is fully sculpted in polyresin.

I was always surprised at how PureArts was able to get almost identical to the paint master, and I guess this is why![/img]
That is interesting!

Thank you
This makes the statue even more interesting. I like the Roman outfit very much. I also really like the face. It exudes strength and character.

That might be, but its far from the in game model. With the likes of Blitzway, Queen Studios, hell, even PCS nailing the portraits, theres no excuse why Kassandra's face looks like that bad

I understand what you write but I don't know Kassandra.
I heard about her for the first time now in this thread. And I like what I see here.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The pictures I posted above of the head are from a buffering livestream where the person barely slowed moving the camera around long enough to get a good clean image. So, I wouldn’t judge it too harshly yet. I think it looks good in the second and third image. Front might be a bit off, but I’m so used to seeing her in the 3/4 angle in cutscenes.

Overall, she looks a bit thin to me compared to the game model, but not enough to worry about.

I contacted them about maybe having one without Athena, but they didn’t reply. I saw some others on social media doing the same. Hopefully enough people ask for it, because this really is two statues instead of just a piece of building like Ezio.
