Thing is he started the listing at 0.99 cents, so there are a lot of suckers out there for it to get 201 bids surely...

For that price I would personally deliver the item myself. Someone how I don't think paypal will cover that amount, not to mention the USPS with insurance.

I have to admit I know very little about the card or the game, but that just seems ridiculous. You might feel comfortable if this was a Sotheby's or Christies auction, but this sellers average sale value is about $3.00

Well, I guess it's because he got a one of a kind piece there. Good for him. I guess he hit the jackpot. When the auction concludes, I guarantee it'll be big news.

So no autograph...16Gs...autograph...1Mil? Really??? Maybe the card is a type of misprint? Misprints are always extremely rare...so when the misprints discovered the price shoots thru the roof! This happened a few years back with a college player or some1 rather...had a MLB Topps card or something accidently printed as an official MLB rookie card..but he wasn't really a Pro...but it got printed and somewhat distributed and when they discovered the misprint the value shot up to make it the most valued BB card....it was worth more than Hank Aaron n Babe Ruths BB card...so if that's what it is...I can believe it...if its just based on some potential...obviously the recession didn't get us all!

If the guy makes a million bucks off some "fluke" card he obtained, good for him...

.. let's see if the buyer pays up.

Some dork investor will.. based on speculation I suppose. I still don't see this card doing better than some of the truly great ones out there. Just not a market for cards these days outside of a collector with LOTS of discretionary income.

Reminds me of a few years back when a dude asked me to kill an auction on some vintage Football cards and gave me 25K for them. Then another 12K for other cards I had on hand. He split all the sets up and put them on his site for big dollars.
